PLESIVICA WINE ROAD & SAMOBOR (min. 10 pax) – language ENGLISH*
Pick up at the hotel, meeting with your guide, private transfer to Plesivica area. The wine road currently features approximately 30 wineries. Plesivica offers a broad spectrum of varieties—Grasevina, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Neuburger, Pinot gris, Pinot blanc, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon, Zeleni Silvanac, Zuti Plavec. Indeed, one wine deserves special mention: the Portugizac, the first wine of the season which is a perfect accompaniment to chestnuts. Homemade traditional lunch will be served in a delightful restaurant near the vineyards. After lunch the excursion leads us to the delightful town of Samobor situated at the foot of the mountain Samobor in the Zagreb county. In the green above the city there are ruins of the once solid and strong-town Samobor. Samobor is a town with ancient ruins from the Stone and Iron Age, and even today keeps the charter of King Bela IV which included the town among the medieval, and distinguished "free royal cities." Dinner will be held in a family run estate in the area where you will be introduced with the traditional preparation of the indigenous bermet and Samobor mustard. Bermet is a specially refined alcoholic drink made of selected sorts of grapes, worm-wood and tropical fruit. Mustard is a piquant sauce, and is made of dried mustard seeds and processed grapes. After dinner return to Zagreb.

CANCELLATION/CHANGE OF RESERVATION: Cancellations/changes must be notified in writing (email or fax) to BAN TOURS. Cancellations/changes made by phone cannot be accepted. Please do not contact the hotels directly as reservations are held by BAN TOURS. In case of no-show or later arrival or earlier departure other than reserved all nights as reserved will be charged.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS: Payment can be made by a credit card or a bank transfer. Bank transfer will be accepted until 05th September 2011 at the latest. Please do not make the bank transfer before the availability of requested services is confirmed. Bank transfer fee – EUR 30,00 Credit card will be charged in Croatian Kunas (HRK) which may result in slightly higher charge than originally stated due to the credit card exchange rate and could include credit card fees.
